Jeffrey Jocelyn Ndong Barthson (born April 12, 1983), known by his stage name Bah’Ndong, is an Afrobeat, Afropop conscience Rap artist of Cameroon origins based in Mainz, Germany.
Born and raised in Yaounde, he attended Saint Joseph’s Bilingual Primary and secondary school and later the University of Buea. Bah’Ndong started music as a kid and went pro in 2001 while at the University. He later joined a band called the Madhouse Metadors in 2012/2013 while in Germany, after moving there from Belgium where he was pursuing his graduate studies. They produced several singles before Bah’Ndong went solo with his own band. He has numerous collabs with other artists and DJS, some of which can be found on SoundCloud.com/Bah’Ndong, same as his first studio album ‘Rebelations 101’. He released his second Studio album in November 2018, titled ‘Rebelations 2.1’ and can be found in all online stores for downloader streaming.
He is the embodiment of Mos Def, Common and Sarkodie (as described by peers) and likes playing video games, basketball and watching movies. His favourite soccer teams are Barcelona FC.
He can’t go a week without a plat of either khati khati, Ndole or Eru. A cup of Smoothie and fruits everyday will do him no bad. And don’t forget he’s very single.
